Order of Business:
- Architectural Review Committee - Arnie
o Fill two positions; one with resident and one
board seat
o Board member will have 1/5 of vote
o Laura Bradley is first selection; Ken Favreau
second
o 112 Blooming Meadow projects have been
approved and started. Complaints were noted, but the majority of the ARC has
approved the two projects.
o ARC tasked with documenting homeowners with
fences facing streets and drafting letters for board approval.
o Minutes from future ARC meetings delivered to
Board.
o Put advertisement in Newsletter for
volunteers for ARC.
o Problems with run-off at Mizelle and Little
- Commercial vehicle at
o Definition of a commercial vehicle was
discussed.
o This situation has been referred to the Town
of Holly Springs to action.
o We are no longer seeking to fine homeowners
for commercial vehicles due to inconsistencies with our C&Rs/Bylaws, so
these issues are forwarded to Beth Trouts. C&Rs may be rewritten in the
future.

Speeding/Speed Bumps on Blooming
o Report from Town of

new survey with concealed radar; Jim will draft letter to be signed by Jerry
and courtesy copy the town council/mayor.

proactive to ensure our accountability remains low in case of tragedy.

Carolina Property Associates issues – Jim
o CPA to distribute VHOA documents to new
homeowners for a fee. On hold pending changes to the VHOA documents.
o CPA will continue to send board monthly
community statements w/added information. Additional information cannot be
provided by CPA as requested, except in a separate document. Arnie is combining
documents for next meeting. CPA is trying to fix this.
o New Bylaw pertaining to homeowners
responsibilities when selling a home.
o Publish CPA availability in first newsletter.

Obtaining VHOA Board paperwork from former secretary – Dori
o Electronic documents from Adam Davis have
been secured less electronic mail. Dori is working issue.

o Contacted Darrin Brannon. Transferring Domain
Names.
o We will need to reimburse him for registrations
- $30.
o Three proposals submitted, fourth pending.
o Review Joe’s proposal and make decision.
o Payments made after invoice is received for
ongoing expenses from Website host.

o Purchased Microsoft Office Publisher 2003
from Blockbuster for $169.99 ($70.00 rebate).
o Refund – Jim taking to CPA for check cutting.

o H.S. Animal Control only works from

basis to pick up loose animals in the neighborhood.

o ARC Committee Volunteers - Let’s
not do this yet until we hear from Laura and the other guy. Since we denied two
other people for this position, this will be delicate at best.
o Reminder to plant trees as buffer
between fences and roadways - Hold off. Let’s let the ARC handle this. I think
it is too specific to only select homes. We should limit the newsletter to more
general topics.
