October 25, 2007 at Bass Lake Ale House

                        Meeting at 7p.m. …adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Attendees:

President, Dori Barnard

VP, Theresa Lewis

Secretary, Amy Blosser

Dori opened the meeting stating that our second pig picking of the year was an overall success.   Future events need more advance notice.  This was discussed with the social committee.  The board discussed upcoming end of season softball party.  Remainder of the barbeque from the pig picking will be donated to this event.

An outstanding large debt has been collecting from one of our homeowner’s.  Password for website logon has been reactivated for this homeowner.

Further discussion is needed in regards to the landscaping efforts for rear entrance of subdivision.  Previous board had approved budget for improvements; however, easement does not exist at Stinson/Mizelle Meadow.  The board voted unanimously to have David Bryan, our attorney, write a letter to try to obtain rights to the easement.

The board has given all information regarding the wetlands to Sharon Willis/CPA in order to provide our community with as much information as possible to continue efforts in this area from one term to the next.  Currently, our community has retained Grady Shield, an environmental attorney, to work with Carolina Property Associates, Valleyfield, The town of Holly Springs, and dam safety to research the dam and surrounding areas.

With the onset of cooler weather the “pass the can” program to improve our mailboxes will commence.

The board wishes to further research our current covenants and restrictions.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
