Meeting adjourned 9:15 p.m.
Attendees: President, Dori Barnard, VP, Theresa Lewis,
VP, Susan Kirk, Secretary, Amy Blosser
Order of Business: Review of last meeting minutes. Minutes were approved.
Updates from Dori: Dori has met with Naomi Lamunion on our
wetlands committee she has informed us that we would need to design and run a hec-hms
Model to see if our damn could be breeched.
The damn is currently broken and the first step to clean up this area is
to breech or fix the damn. Naomi is
willing to speak at the Community Meeting to inform residents of what needs to
be done to improve this area. We will
have to consider 3 different bids for this project and the board plans to
solicit other agencies, engineers, etc.
so that our homeowner’s have a variety of options.
The
Yard of the month program is
underway we are going to purchase $20 gift cards from Home Depot for
winners.
New keys need to be purchased
for the pool.
Website advertisements are
tabled but we would like to revisit this at a later date.
We want to begin planning for
the
Theresa Lewis’ news…The
newsletter was reviewed. This will be
completed as soon as possible (late July) and distributed by hand to the
community.
Theresa plans to have another
social at her home this fall; the date is TBA.
Paint your mail box program is to be initiated by Theresa.
Susan Kirk has begun design
on a welcome packet. She would like to
have pictures to accompany this information.
We will include pool rules, pool receipt form, and information for
publishing contact information in a directory.
Welcome wagon information, current events, covenants and restrictions
also to be included. Susan is going to
design a yard of the month sign to present to the winner of the contest.
CPA is going to sponsor the
Homeowner Andrew Stafford has
asked that we query our landscapers about grinding the stump on
Amy Blosser advised the board
of the following website updates: new
pool key form, pool rules, and recent minutes.
The newsletter will be put on the website once it is completed by
Theresa.
No Parking signs have been
requested by homeowners that live near the pool. Planning department advised us to speak with
the police department. Amy spoke with
the police department, since this is private property we can place signs where
we like to help with traffic and congestion in this area. We will further consider whether to put signs
or paint a no parking area in front of the pool. Also stop sign at Morton Farm
and Blooming Meadow needs to be replaced.
Amy will contact necessary parties for replacement.
