Introduction of
the new Board to community with positions
o Addressed the resignation of Jerry Moore and
Jim Keddie following questions from members.

Dori’s
presentation on the direction of the Board
o Sharon Walters gave an introduction of the
social committee and asked for volunteers.
o Ask members to fill out survey.
o Community addressed the need for us to build
a reserve fund; Board taking this for action.
o Community approved having Spring social.

Savings account
statement
o Past due member accounts are currently at $9827.41.
o Our savings account is currently at $5364.44

Make
announcement about sandwich boards and vandalism
o Community vocally showed approval of the
signs purchase by the board and usage.

Joe’s
presentation on the website design/development
o Community asked for us to collect e-mail
addresses and send out communications via e-mail.
o Will begin collecting addresses via the
website.

Presentation of
the need for document rewrite
o Arnie gave this presentation and addressed
questions and discussed need for rewrite.
o May need to readdress through a community
mailing.

Pets and
Commercial Vehicle comments
o Arnie gave this presentation and the Board’s
standard line.
o Addressed homeowners with issues with the
erosion of member property. Advised those homeowners that the Board has no
power to address this issue.

Ask for
volunteers to run for openings on the Board
o Volunteers: Tracy Smith, Laura Bradley, &
Tony Perry
o Laura Bradley received 38 votes, Tony Perry
received 28, and Tracy Smith received 14.
o Laura Bradley and Tony Perry were elected to
the Board of Directors.

Pool key distribution
to qualified members
o Gave out new pool keys to homeowner’s current
on dues payments.
o Had homeowners sign form for receipt of key
and compliance with VHOA documents.
o Pool card keys will be distributed to the
rest of the community before pool opening on May 28th. Information
on distribution will be sent out via mail over the next week.
