You are likely to see some new faces in the neighborhood!!!!! 

Part of your HOA’s Board of Directors’ duties is to periodically review the services Valleyfield is receiving from each of our contractors.  This is to ensure that our community is getting the best service for our money. 

Therefore, the Board reviewed the service and pricing for each of our three major contractors for 2009 – Management Company, Pool Service Company, and Landscaper.  After a thorough review of each, the Board elected to select new options for all three contractors. 

Management Company

Although the years of service provided by Carolina Property Associates is appreciated, the Board felt that there were other management companies available that better aligned with our goals and needs.  Therefore, effective May 1, 2009 we have changed management companies.  Our new management company is Magnolia Management Group.  Magnolia Management Group is based in Pittsboro, NC and is owned and operated by Charles (Chuck) Grubb.  Our local Community Manager will be Terri Wolk who works out of her Fuquay-Varina office.  Her phone number is 919-200-8313 and her email is Terri@magnoliamanagementgroup.com.  E-mail is a very effective way to communicate routine questions and requests for services.  However you chose to contact Magnolia Management, please be sure to include your name, address, contact telephone numbers as well as the community about which you are calling (Valleyfield).  They also ask that you include a daytime phone number because in many instances it will be more efficient if the manager contacts you at this number during regular business hours. 

Dues will still be paid on a quarterly basis.  Magnolia offers several new payment options including autodraft and online payment via credit card.  More details to follow regarding payment of your dues.  Please note that there will be no changes in your dues due to this change.  You will be receiving your next dues statement in the mail and it will include all the pertinent information.  If you have prepaid your dues to Carolina Property Associates, your payments will transferred to Magnolia. 

The Board is very pleased to be working with Magnolia Management Group.  They come to us very highly recommended from other communities are similar to Valleyfield.  We know you will soon notice the improvements in communication, response time, and results. Pool Service Company 

Many residents complained last year about the state of the pool and surrounding facilities.  The Board heard your complaints and this year have replaced our previous pool company with a new contractor, Pool Specialists.  We know you will immediately notice the improvement in the appearance of the pool and the surrounding facilities.  If you have any issues or concerns with the pool or facilities, please contact Terri with Magnolia (see contact info above). 

Landscaping Company 

The Board also received many complaints last year regarding the state of the common area landscaping.  In response, we replaced the previous landscaper with Two Brothers Landscaping.  We again know you likely have already seen an improvement in the state of the common area landscaping.  Again, if you have any landscaping issues or concerns, please contact Terri with Magnolia. 

Your Board of Directors has been busy this spring making changes to our contractors and we are confident that everyone should see immediate positive results from these changes.  We continue to strive to maintain the quality and appearance of our community and know that changes such as this go a long ways towards this goal.  Again, should you have any questions or concerns about any of these changes, please feel free to contact the board via our email, board1@valleyfieldhoa.org.
