Meeting with Social Committee

Social committee members: Ali Wright, Michelle Wilkie, and Sharon Walters

Order of Business:

The social committee proposed 4 social events this year: May 12, 12:00 ice cream social, June 2 pig pickin, October 20 pig pickin, and December Christmas event.

Carlos has agreed to provide pig for 2 events this year, since last year we did not use the pig provided.

The social committee is looking into finding a pig cooker as well as someone to cook the pig for the June 2 party.

Cultural Arts Center 567-4000 or Hunt Center mentioned as possible site for Christmas event.

Social committee requests for 3 homes by the pool to be blocked off for the event. The Town of Holly Springs will have to approve this request.

Dori requests for information to be held for web site updates. 2^nd Thursday of each month designated for web maintenance uploads. Some board members expressed interest in magnets as a website reminder.

Newsletter was reviewed by board and social committee.

ARC committee has 4 openings. March social at Theresa’s will request for additional ARC members.
